Gabriel Spadon, PhD
Dr. Gabriel Spadon is the founder of the MAPS Lab at Dalhousie University (DAL) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Computer Science (FCS). He earned his PhD and MSc in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from the University of São Paulo (USP) in São Carlos, Brazil. His research focuses on advanced spatiotemporal modeling, complex network mining, and time series forecasting, integrating methods from data science, data engineering, and geoinformatics. His current research interests include Ocean Data Fusion, as well as Underwater and Geospatial Artificial Intelligence.
