Dr. Spadon is the director of MAPS Labs hosted at Dalhousie University, Halifax - NS, Canada, where he is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science on the Big Data Analytics, AI & Machine Learning research cluster. He holds a PhD and an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Sao Paulo - USP, Sao Carlos - SP, Brazil. His research focuses on spatiotemporal analytics, time-series forecasting, and complex network mining, with large involvement with data science, engineering, and geoinformatics.
